About the program
Woodend Racing gives Year 5-6 students an opportunity to train, race and learn numerous skills through Pedal Prix. Students build fitness and confidence, learn real-world teamwork and communication, and get hands-on experience with basic mechanics and STEM thinking.

Why we need support
We keep family fees as low as possible and fundraise through school events. Sponsorship helps cover:

  • Race entry fees
  • Vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Safety equipment such as helmets and cleats
  • Pit shelter, tools and training equipment.

Sponsorship options

1. Team sponsorship packages

All amounts can be invoiced by the school and can include cash payment or in-kind support at one of the sponsorship levels.

**The sponsoring business/company will need to provide all promotional signage.

Packages can be supported through cash or in-kind contributions matched to a sponsorship tier where possible.

2. Fence advertising on Young Street

Perimeter fence advertising

  • Advertising sign on the eastern boundary fence on Young Street
  • Approx. 26,000 vehicles pass this road each day, over 9 million per year, giving strong local exposure to your business
  • Canvas sign size up to 1.5 m x 1 m
  • You supply the sign artwork and printing, and the school installs it securely on the fence
  • Lease fee: 1,000 per year + GST

How funds will be used in 2026

Priority purchases include:

  • Tyres, chains, driveline parts and cabling
  • Lights, batteries and safety gear
  • Spare tools and basic pit equipment
  • Training equipment, such as exercise bikes
  • Pit marquee, flooring and mats

How to become a sponsor

  • Click Become a sponsor and submit your details.
  • The school will send a tax invoice and any logo or artwork specifications.
  • Once payment is received, we will confirm your logo or sign placement and recognition dates.
