Woodend Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) including the Vacation Care program is a valuable and integral part of the Woodend Primary School and the local community. The service aims to provide high quality care for all children and allows children to have fun, develop friendships and build on life skills.
All staff within the service value the importance of learning through play and recognises the importance of childhood in the early years.
Educators collaborate with children and families to develop and provide play experiences and choices that are meaningful to children and support their wellbeing, learning and development.

Vacation Care
The Vacation Care program is available to families who attend Woodend Primary School on Monday Week 7 of each term.
Each year the service closes for two weeks over the Christmas and New Year period. Please contact the service for closure dates
Vacation Care Cancellations
When a day booking has been made but no longer required:
• Cancellations that advise OSHC directly by email (ATTN: Emilie) with 7 days or more notice may not incur a charge if the booking can be filled from the Wait List. The original booking will remain valid until the booking is filled. A charge will be incurred if the booking is not filled by the Wait List.
• Non-attendance bookings will incur a charge. Non-attendance due to illness can be refunded if a sick certificate is presented to OSHC within 7 days of the booking.
• Cancellation of home-based days (incursion days) with 7 days or more notice will not incur a charge.
• Any cancellations with less than 7 days notice will incur a charge.
Those requiring a last minute booking for urgent care should phone OSHC on the morning of the required day to check availability.
Please know that we may not have availability, but we will make every effort to fulfil your request while keeping within our strict ratio requirements.
