Rules are modified from team to team to cater for the skill level and safety level of the years groups.
Training is held after School, matches are held every Saturday morning on a “home and away” basis with local schools in the Glenelg Football Club region.
School footy is played throughout terms two and three.
Older grades will be offered a chance for one or two mini-league games at half time of a Glenelg game and possibly an AFL match some years.
The Football jumper is supplied by the school; students will need to supply their own shorts (school shorts are fine) and football boots.
We are always welcoming parents to help as volunteers in all sports, from coaching, administration, setting up, packing up, scoring and down to general crowd control. Please feel free to nominate yourself if you’re interested, the more volunteers we have the easier it is for all parents and the more enjoyable it is for the children.
The school will generally assist with higher level coaching certificate courses if appropriate.
