On Friday, October 24th, 12 Year 4 students took part in the Bento Master at Sheidow Park Primary School.

Students started the afternoon listening to information about all the different types of bento (Japanese style lunch boxes). Seeing all the different styles and designs was inspiration for their own.

Working in pairs they then were given a range of fresh and healthy ingredients, cutting tools, rice molds and even seaweed cut out stamps, to help design their own bento.

These 12 students produced some wonderful bentos, not only visually fantastic, but by the looks of the empty plates at the end, tasty as well!
