Dear Parents and Caregivers
Our hard-working Grounds Committee is seeking support from our community, to continue with our ‘Street’ improvements that have begun in 2023.
You may have noticed that new pathways have been poured, together with new mulching and increased plantings in front of rooms 1-6. This has made a great improvement to the use, as well as the aesthetic appearance of the street classroom areas.
Our next step is to complete our plantings, create a series of steppingstones and stone paths, together with building an area that can be used by students to sell their garden produce, amongst other things.
Working Bee
We are planning a working bee on the next student free day which is Friday 9th June from 10am until 2pm.
Ken, our groundskeeper, and Dylan, our Garden Specialist, will be on site to direct and assist anyone who can spare an hour or two during this time.
We are particularly looking for people with gardening skills, basic building know-how and anyone who is willing to lend a hand. Parents, grandparents, and friends are all welcome to come along. Any help will be appreciated.
If you can help, please add your name to the list using this form.
Thank you in anticipation,
With kind regards
Grounds Committee
