Sixteen Woodend students competed today in a round robin Basketball competition at Reynella East College. Both our Boys and Girls teams played exceptionally well, with plenty of great highlights throughout the day.

A few students competed in their first Basketball competition and did an excellent job. Aiden provided an exciting moment, scoring on the buzzer to secure a win for the boys in their first game of the day.

The Boys team played five games throughout the day, finishing with two wins and three losses. Our Girls team put together a fantastic team performance, winning all four of their games and progressing through to the State Finals. A special thank you to Courtney for coaching the Girls team.

Thank you to the parents who assisted with transporting students, scoring and supporting our teams throughout the day. Your help was greatly appreciated.

It was fantastic to see all students playing to the best of their ability, supporting one another and playing in the right spirit. We are incredibly proud of the way they represented Woodend.
