Join us on Wednesday, 24 September (Week 10) as we celebrate 30 years of Woodend! Along with a special assembly and activities throughout the day, adults and children alike are invited to step back into the 90s and dress for the decade.
The 1990s were all about bright colours, scrunchies, overalls, slap bands and funky patterns. Music from bands like the Spice Girls and Backstreet Boys filled the air, while kids played with Tamagotchis, Game Boys and rollerblades. TV favourites like Rugrats, The Simpsons and Sailor Moon kept us entertained, and fashion was all about baggy jeans, flannel shirts, bucket hats and plenty of neon.
From butterfly clips and chokers to backwards caps, platform sneakers and denim jackets, the 90s were packed with iconic styles. Cult classics like Friends, Pokémon, Goosebumps, Power Rangers and The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air shaped the decade, while kids swapped Pokémon cards, played Nintendo 64 and showed off their mood rings. Whether you dress as a pop star, a skater, or in your brightest neon gear, there are plenty of fun ways to bring the 90s back to life!
We look forward to celebrating this milestone with our community!
