We are excited to celebrate a milestone Birthday for our school! Woodend Primary School has turned 30 years old and we would like to invite you to be part of the celebrations! We will hold Birthday festivities on:
WEDNESDAY 24TH SEPTEMBER 2025
These are the following activities planned for the day:
- Assembly – this will include a simple history of our school, recognition of past and present staff and students, and cutting of a Birthday cake. This will be at 10.00am in the school gym
- Display of Woodend’s history – front office area for families/community
- Dress Up Day – students and staff to dress in attire from the 1990’s
- Board Games Day – students can bring their favourite board game to play with class members and teachers
- Picnic Birthday Lunch – school oval at 12.30 – 1.00pm – students and parents/carers are to bring own lunch
Parents/carers are invited to join us for the special Assembly and the picnic Birthday lunch. Please add this date to your diary so that you can celebrate with us! If you require further information, please contact your child’s teacher or the front office staff.
