Confetti on the Calendar!

Join Woodend on a journey to celebrate the special events we adore throughout the year. We start with a party to ring in the New Year, followed by recognising the special people in our lives on Valentine’s Day. We hop into Easter, bouncing with excitement, then creep into the fun of dressing up for Halloween. We joyfully leap into celebrating Christmas and the connection we share with family and friends. We finish off the year with another big party! Come along for the fun and enjoy the celebration!!!

After years of disruptions and missed opportunities, we realise how important it is to celebrate special occasions with family and friends. These celebrations help us make happy memories and feel closer to each other.

We chose these celebrations as they are the ones that resonated most within our school community.

We wanted to have FUN and bring the ENTERTAINMENT! 🙂

On Tuesday 6th August, the School Challenge team and a photographer (Advertiser) came out to visit the 66 performers in our 2024 team who have been working since mid-term 1 to put together our performance. These students gather together after school on Mondays, led by Mrs Najjar, Mrs Coster and Ms Gregory along with Taya, Taylor and Georgia as they have learnt their collective and group dances.

Last year we got the loudest cheer from the audience and would love to have as many people there as possible.
