Expressions of Interest for the Woodend Performance Team for 2026 are now open.

Our Woodend Performance Team is a group of dedicated year 4-6 students who are interested in learning an 8-minute performance to tell a story using a combination of dancing, creative movement and acting to pre-recorded music. We will be performing as part of Schools Challenge Australia, a performing arts event for schools in South Australia held at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre in August.
Program Details
• Price: $100 per student to cover costs such as entry fees, buses to the venue, costuming and props
• Rehearsal Day/Time: Mondays, 3:15 – 4:30pm. Woodend Primary School Gym. Rehearsals will start in week 8 (Monday 16th March)
• Performance Dates: Entertainment Centre – 19th or 20th of August (Woodend will be allocated one of these dates closer to the time)
If your child is interested, please complete the Expression of Interest form by Wednesday, 25th February. If interest is high, there may be a selection process.
