Woodend hosted Reynella East, Colonel Light Gardens and Woodcroft in round 1 of the boys AFL Statewide Schools competition.

It was great to see the boys improve throughout the day and finish with 3 wins from their 3 games and now move into round 2 of the competition.

Well done to all players on a successful day and thanks to the parents for helping with goal umpiring, time keeping and supporting the team.
