On Thursday, 28th August, 34 Woodend students from Years 4–6 proudly represented our school at the Southern Valley Athletics competition. Despite some tough and wild weather conditions, every student gave their best effort and should be proud of their determination and sportsmanship.

Woodend placed 5th overall in the large schools division, with several students achieving outstanding results by winning Gold, Silver, or Bronze medals in their individual events.

A special congratulations goes to Piper, Tazzie, Etienne, Lara, and Ava, who have been selected to represent the Southern Valley district team at State Day on Monday, 22nd September.
