Book Week 2025 – “Book an Adventure!”

Get ready to Book an Adventure as we celebrate Children’s Book Week 2025!

From Monday 18 August, our classes will be diving into the wonderful world of books through a variety of creative and engaging literacy-based activities. This year’s theme “Book an Adventure” invites students to explore stories as passports to new adventures, sparking imagination and a love of reading across all year levels.

Our celebrations will culminate in a Book Week Parade on Friday 22nd August 2025 at 9:15am

Parents and carers are warmly invited to attend and enjoy the parade as students bring their favourite book characters to life with costumes and creativity. We will also show the winners of the CBCA (Children’s Book Council of Australia) Book of the Year Awards. Our senior and junior choir will also sing for us.

La La Latte Coffee Van will be on site Friday morning. Feel free to purchase a coffee before or after the parade and enjoy the morning with us!

Please note: While we have previously welcomed families into classrooms to participate in Book Week activities, this year, due to higher than usual staff and student illness, we will not be holding in-class visits. We appreciate your understanding and continued support.
