Our Woodend Athletics team are to be congratulated! Forty-six students attended the day and once again, the students performed their events successfully and in a positive team spirit.
Woodend took out first place at District Athletics which was an amazing team effort from all the students who represented our school. They put in their best effort.
Woodend has now won this event six years in a row!!!!
Twenty-one students won a medal in either 1, 2 or 3 of their events.
Twelve of our students have been selected to represent Southern Valley at the Metropolitan Championships next term.
A big thank you to the parents who helped to transport our students today and helped with our high jump event.
