There was so much to hear, see, touch and do at our combined STEAM Expo and Music Night last night! There were so many ‘thoughtful’ investigations on display this year where families had made a big effort to think through a problem and attempt to make a difference as our theme encouraged. Majority of students with the help of their families had engaged with our theme:
‘Do Something … Make A Difference’
There were investigations about: solving pollution, improving our ways to recycle, gardening involving use of recyclable materials, making instruments out of natural materials to entertain others, showing kindness to others, and creating art that may inspire others. There was a very impressive display of varied investigations/creations/products.
We thank parents/carers for spending time with your child and encouraging them to learn something new about STEAM.
We were thrilled to have budding musicians share their learning in music with us for Music Night. It was extra special to have the opportunity to listen and view their talents and we were very proud of their efforts on the night. For many it was their first opportunity to play their instrument in front of a large audience! Congratulations to these students and their music teachers.
