Effective Communication at Woodend Primary School
At Woodend Primary School, we recognise the importance of clear and respectful communication in building strong partnerships with our families. You can expect timely updates and essential information delivered through our digital platforms and regular school communications. Our website is frequently updated with policies, procedures, and details about upcoming events, making it easy for you to stay connected to school life. If you raise a concern with us, we will respond professionally and confidentially, aiming to return calls and emails within two business days during term time. Your feedback is highly valued, as we are committed to continually improving how we communicate and work with our community.
We appreciate your support in maintaining respectful and positive communication across our school. Please keep us informed if your child will be late or absent, and make sure your contact and emergency details are always up to date. Subscribing to our News Blog and checking Seesaw messages regularly helps you stay connected, so please reach out if you have any questions about these platforms. If you need to share information or raise a concern, we encourage you to contact your child’s teacher first using Seesaw Messages or email, and to arrange a meeting if needed. If you ever have a concern about another child or parent, please let us know directly so we can follow up; we ask that families do not approach others about these matters.
We look forward to working together in partnership throughout 2026. If you have any questions about our communication processes, please contact us—we are happy to assist!
