🏀 Congratulations to our Year 5/6 Woodend girls 🏀

Today, our girls proudly represented Woodend at the State Large Schools Basketball Finals. The team played six games, improving with every match to finish the competition in 12th position.

The girls faced strong opposition throughout the day and gained so much valuable experience along the way. They played with enthusiasm, energy and a fantastic work ethic, showing great teamwork and determination in every game.

A big thank you to Courtney for coaching the team and supporting the girls to develop and improve throughout the day. Your time and dedication are greatly appreciated.

Well done to all the girls for the way they represented Woodend, playing with great sportsmanship and giving every game their absolute best effort. You should all be incredibly proud of yourselves.

Go Woodend!
