Congratulations to the five Woodend girls who represented Southern Valley at the SAPSASA State Metropolitan Netball Carnival in Week 8! There were early morning starts for the drive to Golden Grove and some very chilly conditions on the netball courts.

Daisy and Piper played in the Division 1 team, while Savannah, Lucy and Addison played in the Division 3 team. Both teams faced strong opposition throughout the week, but the girls demonstrated excellent teamwork, determination, and sportsmanship in every game.

We thank Ms Hayley Boys for coaching the girls throughout the week. Well done to all five girls on this wonderful achievement! We are very proud of the way they represented Southern Valley and Woodend Primary School!
