Each year, our Garden Custodian team use their own lunch and recess time to build Scarecrows to be entered in the Royal Adelaide Show’s competition.
This year, the group agreed on entering three designs into the one category for Story Books. The students designed the plan and then built the masterpieces over many weeks. Using tools like saws and drills, re-using materials like plastic pots, empty milk cartons and then papier mache before painting.
The Custodians have shown wonderful collaboration skills and artistic flair, truly an amazing team effort!
