Last Thursday 23/7/26, Woodend hosted Tatachilla in the second round of the Knockout Netball competition. It was an exciting and closely contested match, with our Woodend girls displaying excellent netball skills against a tall and talented Tatachilla team.

The scoreboard reflected the competitive nature of the game, with Woodend narrowly missing out by just one goal! The final score being 25-26. Although this result means we won’t progress to the State Finals, the effort and sportsmanship shown by our team was outstanding.

A big thank you to all the parents who came to support and helped with tasks such as scoring. We also thank Ms Boys and Mr Hehner for preparing the girls and supporting them to achieve their best as a team.

Congratulations to all the Woodend players for your determination, spirit, and pride – you represented your school wonderfully.
