Congratulations to the Woodend Year 5/6 boys who, on Friday 14th November, participated in the Dave Cohen Festival of Rugby League. The team were invited to attend this event as a result of their teamwork and excellent results in a Term 2 competition.

The boys played seven games throughout the day against other primary schools from all over Adelaide. The team performed exceptionally well, and all boys were able to score a try during the carnival, which is a fantastic achievement.

At the end of the competition, the team were presented with the ‘Disciplined Award’ for their outstanding conduct on and off the field this award was voted on by the NRL referee’s.

Well done to all the boys who represented Woodend, and a big thank you to the parent group for assisting with transport and cheering on the team.
