Our nineteen riders completed their Pedal Prix 2026 racing season. This totals three races for the year:
1. Saturday 23rd May at ‘The Bend’ Tailem Bend
2. Friday 19th June at ‘Victoria Park Racecourse’
3. Saturday 1st August at ‘The Bend’ Tailem Bend
Congratulations and well done to all our riders and their many successes! With each race, every rider improved with their skills, stamina, mindset, laps and/or speed! Our school values of: Respect, Community and Care were reflected in their participation and the generous time and support of our Woodend families to ensure personal and team success.
A big thank you to Pedal Prix coordinator, Kerry, for all her time coordinating Pedal Prix for all our families. Pedal Prix could not have happened without her efforts. Kerry was supported by many Woodend parents/grandparents so that all the necessary equipment, supervision, bike care and rider help was addressed.
Thank you to all our families for providing their child with a new experience or an ongoing interest in Pedal Prix. Unless in Year 6, we hope that these riders may want to be involved again in 2027.
