Our OSHC service is looking for both qualified and unqualified staff for our casual pool.

Qualified requirements

Diploma in Children’s services, or equivalent. Other accepted qualifications are listed on the Acecqa website https://www.acecqa.gov.au/

Current First aid certificate, WWCC, and Reporting Child Abuse and Neglect Certificate, or be willing to obtain

Able to communicate effectively with Children, and families.

Excellent teamwork and team building skills, and able to supervise groups of children, and staff confidently.

Ability to use initiative, work under pressure, and understand the needs and development of school aged children.

Willing to take on extra responsibilities delivered by Director.

Some knowledge of National Quality Framework regulations, legislation, and standards, and MTOP would be desirable.

Unqualified requirements

Current WWCC, first aid certificate, and Reporting Abuse and Neglect certificate, or be willing to obtain.

Effective communication skills, ability to use initiative, and work effectively as a team member.

Ability to interact with children in a positive and respectful manner.

Able to work in a busy environment effectively.

Experience with children from 5 – 12 years desirable.
