Welcome back to all of our existing OSHC families and welcome to all of our new families – including all of the new receptions!!
We had a very successful vacation care – all of the children had a wonderful time! This term seems to be going very, very quickly and it is soon time to begin enrolling for the next April Vacation Care period.
Enrolment forms for the April Vacation Care will be released next week, Tuesday 15 March at 7.00am. Forms can be collected from the OSHC office.
Some important information on forthcoming staffing changes:
The service is currently undergoing some staffing structure changes. As of the end of Term 2, Zoe will be on maternity leave – there’s a baby on the way! The school will appoint a Director to replace Zoe, to begin part way through Term 2. This will allow for adequate training and development opportunities before Zoe leaves.
Jackie will step away from the daily administration duties in the office. She will take on a ‘School Aged Coordinator’ role and be responsible for all aspects of the program and maintaining National Quality Framework and My Time Our Place requirements.
A new position has been created to assist in the basic administration duties of the service. The service will also appoint a Clerk for 20 hours per week who will work alongside the Director in the OSHC office. This position will allow the Director to focus on all other leadership and management aspects of the service.
All structural changes within the OSHC service are supported by the School Principal and have been approved by the Governing Council.
The service has recently advertised for both the Director and Clerk positions and welcomes all applicants who meet the Job and Person Specification of the roles.
