You should have received a copy of your child’s report via email this afternoon.

Sharing students’ progress with families is an important part of supporting each child’s learning and development. The mid-year report provides a comprehensive overview of your child as a learner, highlighting their progress both academically and personally.

Each report includes a Learning Comment, which highlights your child’s dispositions (the attitudes and habits they bring to learning) and capabilities (the transferable skills they use to apply their learning in different contexts). Effort and achievement are also assessed across all learning areas using a consistent scale set by the Department for Education: Minimal, Partial, Satisfactory, Good, and Excellent. Through these reports, we aim to provide families with a clear insight into their child’s progress and strengthen our partnership in supporting each child’s ongoing development and success.

If you’d like to learn more about what has been taught in each curriculum area, the Australian Curriculum Information for Parents summaries (linked below) are a helpful resource.

Foundation Year 1-2 Year 3-4 Year 5-6

You may have noticed that your child’s report looks different from previous years. This is due to our transition to a new Department for Education reporting system.

If you require a printed copy of your child’s report, you can request one by emailing the school via the school’s DL email address.
