Friday mornings in the hall is the place to be! We loved having our “little sprouts” – our younger members of our Woodend community and their families, come for a play on Fridays!

Playgroup offers a fantastic opportunity for children to grow and build their skills, try new activities in our school space and for families to connect with each other and our school community. We encourage all families with young children to come along, join in the fun, and get to know others in a welcoming environment. Playgroup is offered to 3-5 year olds and their families every Friday of school term from 9.00 – 10.15am in our school hall. We would like to thank Playgroup SA representatives, Beck and Craig, for visiting and joining in with us for our first Playgroup on 1/5/26. We received very positive feedback from the coordinators. Last Friday we had a theme about ‘Family’ and after a play, we sang “Five Little Ducks” and went to visit our chickens from Henny Penny Hatching Program in Mrs Smith’s Reception classroom! They were very cute!
