In term 2 we have three Student  Free Days. On these days our staff are involved in training and development  activities associated with our Learning  Improvement  Plan. The school will be closed for students. OSHC will be available on all three days.

The dates and activities are:

• Monday 18 May … Teachers from our school and 7  other local schools are involved in  various collaborative learning programs across our  8 sites. The main program is  focused on Mathematical thinking and problem solving and involves all classroom teachers from the 8 sites working together.
• Tuesday 2  June and Wednesday 3 June … 25  of our teachers will be attending the EduTech 2015 conference in Brisbane.  Those teachers are working on their own digital technology projects at the moment and at the conference they will be experiencing the latest in thinking about creating the best learning opportunities for children of today.  Those staff members not going to EduTech will be engaged in  a range of training and development activities including visiting other schools.
