We would like to provide an update regarding the recent gastroenteritis outbreak.
Firstly, thank you for your understanding and support over the past week. We appreciate your cooperation with the need to cancel the disco, for keeping your children home if they were unwell, and for adhering to the 48-hour exclusion period after any symptoms have ceased.
As a result of these collective efforts, we are pleased to report that the situation is now under control. We will still proceed with caution, with sanitiser remaining readily available, and staff actively monitoring hand washing and general hygiene in classrooms. Our enhanced cleaning regime, introduced last week, will continue at least through this Friday.
Please continue to monitor your children closely. While the situation has significantly improved and student absences have now returned to normal levels, we are still seeing a small number of students presenting as unwell during the day. Please ensure that students remain home at the first sign of illness and for 48 hours after symptoms have ceased.
We are pleased to announce that we can now proceed with plans to reschedule the disco!
Disco Update – New Date & New Times!
As many of you already know, we had to hit pause on our school disco last Friday 14/11 due to illness across the school. But good news – the disco is back on! We’ve locked in a new date, and although options were limited this close to the end of the year, we’re excited to announce the details below.
To help keep the night fun and manageable for everyone, we’ve also shifted the times a little earlier.
New Disco Details
📅 Date: Thursday 27 November 2025
🕓 Times:
• R-2: 4:30 – 5:30pm
• Year 3-6: 5:45 – 7:15pm
If you’ve already purchased a ticket, a revised one will be sent home mid next week.
If your child can no longer attend, please contact our finance officer at Angela.Burrows170@schools.sa.edu.au.
🎟 Ticket Sales – Final Chance!
Qkr has been reopened briefly for families who still wish to purchase a ticket.
The final cut-off is 11.30pm Monday, 24 November – no exceptions.
We need this time to finalise supervision numbers and organise ticket allocations.

Due to changes in staff availability, we may require additional parent helpers.
