Well done to our Woodend Pedal Prix riders and families! Last Saturday 1st August was our third and final race for the year. It was a chilly start of just 1 degree followed by a sunny afternoon to enjoy the event.

We are very proud of the determination and persistence our riders showed in completing eight hours of racing as a team! With two cars rotating riders regularly, it was a hectic pitstop for our Woodend riders and parent helpers!

So many of our Pedal Prix families showed our school value of ‘Community’ as they helped prepare the cars, the riders and their equipment as well as cheering them on and congratulating the riders as they entered the pit for their break.

We sincerely thank coordinator, Kerry Middleton and also Kyle Middleton, for helping prepare for this final race. It is a big task and we appreciate all their efforts to make it happen. Thank you to all those parents who helped at the pits supporting each rider as they changed over.

We hope that your children enjoyed their year of Pedal Prix racing! We especially hope the Year 6 team members have some positive memories from their final year of Woodend Racing.
