Dear parents/caregivers
As we come to the end of what has been a busy and fulfilling term, I want to take a moment to sincerely thank you for the incredible support you have shown our school community.
The strength of a school lies not only in its staff and students, but in the active involvement of its families—and we have certainly felt that support this term. Whether it’s been through the volunteer work happening in classrooms, the time given so generously in our canteen, or the help provided during excursions, your contribution makes a real difference to the experience our children have at school each day.
We’ve also been fortunate to welcome our Japanese student visitors, and your support in making them feel part of our community has been heart-warming. By participating in the welcome and farewell events, your involvement has helped create lasting memories for both our visitors and our students.
Our Governing Council, along with the many committees that operate across the school—including our dedicated sports coordinators, managers, and coaches—deserve a special mention for their ongoing efforts behind the scenes. Your commitment is deeply appreciated.
We’ve also been pleased to see so many of you attending our assemblies—especially the Rose Ceremony, the ANZAC assembly, and the special events involving our Japanese guests. And of course, your engagement with teachers through parent-teacher interviews has further strengthened the vital connection between home and school.
There are just too many wonderful moments to mention, but please know that your input and participation are truly valued.
We wish you a very safe and enjoyable two-week break, including the Easter weekend. We look forward to welcoming everyone back, refreshed and ready for another great term, when Term 2 begins.
Kind regards,
Steve
