Dear families/caregivers,

Following a third successful musical this year, in 2027, years 4-6 students have the exciting opportunity to be a part of a musical as part of an extra-curricular program. At this stage, we are gauging expressions of interest from students and families. We will perform “Dear Edwina Jr” in term 2, week 8; Friday evening and Saturday afternoon (18th and 19th June), and week 9; Friday evening and Saturday evening (25th and 26th June). Students will be involved in 2 dress rehearsals for school and 4 community performances where tickets will be available to purchase.

Rehearsals will be after school on Thursdays until 5pm. Please note there will be 3 compulsory Sunday practice days in Term 1 and 2 (dates to be confirmed).

Week 5 and 6, Term 4 2026, students will audition to be a part of this bright and playful musical. They can audition for a lead, supporting role or to be a part of the ensemble. Students will be singing, dancing and acting no matter their role. After auditions, if successful, students/parents will receive a contract stating their commitments/support.

Those who complete the expressions of interest google form will be added to a seesaw group so students will have the material needed to practice ready for auditions. If your child is ready to dance, sing and act to music then let us know!

The cost to participate in this musical will be approximately $120. This is to cover costs; for example: copyright, staging, sound, lighting, scripts, music, recordings, costumes, makeup etc.
