What a magnificent evening for our 2024 Celebration Night!

The weather couldn’t have been better for a picnic on the oval. We were thrilled to see a fantastic turnout of current, past, and future families, along with members of the wider community, all coming together to celebrate 2024 and welcome the festive season.

It was clear that students, teachers, and class helpers have worked hard over the past weeks. The result was an interesting array of quality performances, ranging from Christmas songs to pop hits and musical numbers—something for everyone! Even “the termites” had their moment in Rooms 1 and 2’s hilarious rendition of The 12 Days of Christmas. A dazzling fireworks display provided the perfect finale to the evening.

The healthy rivalry between our staff, Parent Network, and senior students’ performances rounded out the evening perfectly. This cherished tradition remains a highlight, as we each create performances to entertain our children and their families.

A huge thank you to our canteen and administration staff, as well as our dedicated volunteers, who organised and served a selection of snacks, drinks, and novelty items. Special appreciation also goes to the organising crew, including Dave and Regi on sound, Matt Hehner for stepping in as MC in Steve’s absence, and Ken and Dylan for preparing the grounds. We are also deeply grateful to everyone who helped with the setup and pack-down on the day.

The sense of community was heartwarming, with families enjoying each other’s company and celebrating the joy of the season. Thank you all for making it an unforgettable night!
