Today, our school came together to celebrate Harmony Week, a special time to recognise and embrace the diversity that makes our community so vibrant.
A highlight of the day was our Harmony Week Disco, which was a huge hit with both junior primary and primary students. The energy was high as students enjoyed the music, fun, and dancing with their peers. The theme of ‘Everyone Belongs’ was truly felt, with laughter, smiles, and some of the longest conga lines we’ve ever seen!
Beyond the disco, students participated in Simultaneous Storytime, where they enjoyed a story about kindness, friendship, and the importance of inclusion. We hope these messages continue to resonate with our students, reminding them of the impact their words and actions have in making everyone feel welcome.
In the classroom, a variety of creative activities helped reinforce important messages about diversity, inclusion, and the spirit of Harmony Day.
Thank you for supporting this celebration and helping your child come dressed in orange—a colour that symbolises meaningful communication and mutual respect. We appreciate your role in making this a special day for our students and reinforcing the values of Harmony Week at home.
