What a spectacular Book Week we had at Woodend Primary! The theme, “Book an Adventure,” really came to life.

Our annual Book Week Parade was a massive highlight! The effort and creativity put into everyone’s costumes was simply amazing. We had explorers ready for the jungle, astronauts blasting into space, and pirates sailing the high seas—all a perfect reflection of the theme. The school oval was a sea of colour and imagination, and it was wonderful to see everyone so excited about their favourite characters. A huge round of applause to all our students and families for your fantastic efforts!

A massive thank you must also go to our dedicated Library Committee. Your hard work and passion for reading made this year’s Book Week run so smoothly. Your commitment ensured that our big celebration was a wonderful and memorable day for all.

We had performances from our Junior and Senior Choirs! Their beautiful songs echoed across the oval, adding a truly magical atmosphere to our day. Thank you, choir members, for sharing your incredible talents with us and making our Book Week celebration even more special.
