We are thrilled to announce that this year we will be hosting a live arts showcase. ArtBEAT 2024, a celebration of the performing arts at Woodend, is scheduled for Thursday, October 24th. This special event will highlight the talents of our students, with performances during the day for our early years students, followed by a ticketed evening performance.
Students currently learning an instrument at school or participating in a school arts program are encouraged to perform. Additionally, an audition process is available for those receiving arts instruction outside of school. Performers should be independent and well-rehearsed.
We welcome acts featuring students from various years and classes performing together.
Auditions will take place on Tuesday of Week 7 in the afternoon. This is a fantastic opportunity for students to gain valuable experience, and constructive feedback will be provided.
