Would you have any of these items to donate? We have conducted an audit on our playboxes and play areas and found several play items that we would appreciate adding to our play. If you have any of these pre loved household items to donate that are safe, clean and appropriate please bring them to your child’s classroom or Front Office and we will gladly add them to our play.
Items for play:
- White shirts (pretend doctors)
- Hospital items egs. bandages, face and foot masks, bowls, tweezers
- Plastic doll’s bottles
- Doll’s clothes
- Saucepans
- Salt and pepper shakers
- Condiment bottles
- Canisters
- Milk and sugar sets
- Dish drainers
- Tea towels
- Squares of fabric eg. organza, sparkly and/or tulle
- Vases
- Plastic flowers/flower arrangements
- Wood offcuts
- Musical instruments
We currently have a ‘Beach’ theme happening in the play space of the Atrium and we would be appreciate of any of the following:
- beach towels
- sunshade
- deck chairs
- soft or plastic toys – octopi, dolphins, fish, sea stars, seagulls, crabs
- safety vests
- fishing reel (no hooks)
- steering wheel (for pretend boat)
The teachers/ School Support Officers who conduct programs to support students with special needs are also in need of some items:
- puzzles
- lego
- construction
- children’s board games
- car sets and train tracks
