Week 5 is SSO Week!

This week we celebrate and thank the amazing School Services Officers (SSOs) at Woodend Primary!

Our SSOs are truly the heartbeat of our school. They are the people who keep things moving, step in wherever they are needed and make an enormous difference to the day-to-day life of our school. Whether supporting students and small-group interventions, helping staff and families, keeping our administration and finance running smoothly, looking after our library, ICT, gardens and grounds, or taking on the many unexpected jobs that pop up each day, our SSOs bring care, expertise and a genuine commitment to everything they do.

What makes them so special is their willingness to take on any job, big or small, with a smile. They are the people who roll up their sleeves, work things out and simply get it done – often without fuss and without needing to be asked twice. That flexibility, good humour and willingness to help does not go unnoticed. Their contribution reaches far beyond their individual roles, helping to create a school where students feel supported and our community feels cared for.

Thank you to our amazing SSOs for everything you do! We are incredibly lucky to have such a dedicated, hardworking and wonderful bunch of people as part of our Woodend Primary School team. 💙
