The 2026 Sports Day will certainly be remembered for years to come, with wild weather, plenty of laughs, and a whole lot of fun enjoyed by students, staff, and families.

Congratulations to all students who participated in the 2026 Sports Day. Whether you were sprinting down the track, cheering from the sidelines, or simply trying to keep your lunch from blowing away in the wind, everyone showed fantastic resilience, determination, and school spirit throughout the day.

A special congratulations to all students who competed in the Sprints, Fun Run, and the always highly anticipated Woodend Gift Race. Some impressive speed was on display, although a few students may still be searching for where their hats ended up after the weather rolled through.

Thank you to all of the volunteers who helped to make this day possible and a special thank you to the wonderful captains who helped prepare, set up Sports Day.

Well done to Woollard the mighty Red army, who have officially gone back-to-back in 2026 after their inaugural win in 2025. The celebrations were loud, proud, and possibly heard from neighbouring suburbs.
