Next week, our school will come together to celebrate Harmony Week with a variety of engaging activities in classrooms across the school.

On Wednesday, we encourage everyone to wear orange as a symbol of our commitment to diversity, inclusion, and belonging. The day will begin with a simultaneous reading of Strictly No Elephants, a heartwarming story about friendship and acceptance. During recess and lunch, students can dance and celebrate together at our Everyone Belongs discos.

On Friday, we are excited to welcome our friends from our sister school in Tokyo, Japan—Myojo Gakuen Elementary. After lunch, we will officially welcome them with a special assembly. Our visitors, including 24 students and four teachers, will be hosted by Woodend families over the coming weeks.
