Music Night … Celebrating Our Students’ Persistent Efforts To Improve

by | Sep 4, 2015

We love  music and  love the effort our student put into  improving their musical capabilities.  Big congratulations to all of the fantastic Woodend musicians that performed at our music night last night. Violins, flutes, piano, percussion, clarinets, rock bands and choirs all entertained audiences over three stages at our major music event of the year. It was wonderful to see the culmination of lots of rehearsing and learning by our music students. A big thank you to all of our music teachers for their work, as well as our compere Trent and our sound crew, Patrick and Harry.  Jarrod Lamshed and Vicki Gregory have mentored our choirs and we thank them for their efforts.  Thank you to Jarrod, also,  for his terrific organisation of Music Night.   We know the  senior choir will have a fantastic experience next  Sunday as they perform at the Festival  Theatre as of as part of The Primary Schools Festival of  Music.

We are happy to be able to share some great photos from the night taken by Jess Ottewell.  Click on the thumbnail photos below for a larger version of the images.
