Vinall Sensai and Keiko Sensai would like to draw your attention to this wonderful family holiday opportunity to celebrate a special Japanese day.
On the last day of the school holidays, Sunday 1 May, there will be “Kodomo no hi Japan Festival” (known as Children’s Day) held in Adelaide. This event is Adelaide’s largest Japanese festival, which is celebrating its 21st year this year.
“Kodomo no hi” is a public holiday in Japan and a day to celebrate children’s happiness and health on this day and in the future. Many families go out to their favourite family places. Why don’t you go to the festival and enjoy the day with family before coming back to school next day?
There will be a lot of Japanese related activities, such as Martial Arts, Folk Dancing, Tea Ceremony, fun games and yummy food!
